Why Spatial7 EAM exists

How the modules connect

The five connected domains, and why the record is never copied between them.

One record, many views

Spatial7 is deliberately not a set of disconnected modules. The Launch Platform, the GIS workspace, the client portal and reporting all read the same asset master.

The connected chain

  1. Where — the mapped feature and its spatial reference
  2. What — the asset register record and its taxonomy
  3. State — condition, risk and inspection history
  4. Work — defects, work orders and maintenance
  5. Value — replacement value, depreciation and remaining life
  6. Decision — renewal, capital works and long-term financial planning

Why this matters in practice

When a module holds its own copy of asset data, the copies drift. Spatial7 keeps a single authoritative record and derives the rest, so a correction made once is correct everywhere.
